Hart-tish Campground

Hart-tish Campground is on the north shore of Applegate Lake in the Rogue River - Siskiyou National Forest, about 28 miles southwest of Medford. Visitors to the campground enjoy boating, canoeing, swimming, fishing, cycling, and hiking. The speed limit on the lake is 10 MPH. A general store is located in the adjacent day-use area.

Hart-tish Campground is composed of 7 walk-in tent sites and 8 sites for self-contained RVs. The coveted RV sites are lakefront, with a broad grassy area sloping in front of them down to the lake. The RV sites are in a section of the day-use parking area. There is a 2-night minimum camping period over weekends and on holidays. There is a Group Tent Campsite available. Campers are asked to arrive before 8:00 PM.

Hart-tish Group Campsite

Hart-tish Campground has a group campsite which can accommodate up to 15 people and 3 vehicles. Additional vehicles subject to an extra fee. The walk-in campsite is designated for tents only. It is located near the beach and has full shade. Reservations can be made up to a year in advance of the arrival date.

  1. Quiet Hours: are from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Generators may not be operated after 8:00 PM.
  2. Dogs must be kept on leash and attended at all times. At night they must be kept in a vehicle or tent.
  3. Help prevent the spread of invasive species by obtaining firewood locally.
