Camp Creek Campground is off Highway 26, five miles southeast of Zigzag in the Mt. Hood National Forest. Visitors to the campground find enjoyable opportunities for mountain biking, horseback riding, and hiking nearby. The popular Pioneer Bridle Trail runs past the campground. Camp Creek Campground makes a comfortable base for exploring the greater Mt. Hood area.
Camp Creek Campground has 25 campsites. Many sites can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents, including 3 double sites. Some campsites are for tents only. Premium campsites are those closest to Camp Creek. The campsites are located on a bench above Camp Creek. The campground was originally constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1936. Some features from the era remain, such as several charming stone fireplaces. The campground is close to the highway and some vehicle noise can be heard in the campground.
