Cavitt Creek Falls Campground
Cavitt Creek Falls Recreation Site is a beautiful retreat set in a dense forest of cedars, maples, and fir. The focal point of the park is a small waterfall that cascades down Cavitt Creek and forms a delightful swimming hole at its base. Salmon and steelhead can be seen leaping up the falls through the winter. The recreation site is operated by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).
Cavitt Creek Falls Campground has been designed to accommodate those with mobility difficulties. The 10 campsites are arranged on terraces. Campsites, water spigots, restrooms and parking areas are all wheelchair accessible. The creek itself is not accessible for those in wheelchairs, but a viewing point that overlooks the falls is.
General Camping Information
Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the website when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite.
In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted.
