Tucker Park is along the Hood River, 6 miles upstream from the city of Hood River. Overlooked by many traveling the Columbia River Gorge, Tucker Park offers a nice camping base from which to explore the region. The park is operated by Hood River County. A day-use area offers picnic sites. No fishing is allowed in the park.

Tucker Park Campground has 90 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Water hook-ups are available at 20 of the sites. No reservations are available; all sites are first-come, first-served. Campsite #25 is a Group Campsite for up to 10 people and 2 vehicles.

Key Tucker Park Campground Regulations

  1. Quiet Hours extend from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
  2. Visitors must keep their camping gear within the boundaries of their campsite.
  3. Prevent the spread of invasive pests by obtaining firewood locally. Campfire wood is no longer sold in the park.
  4. Fires are only permitted in designated fire receptacles and must be attended. Fires must be extinguished upon departure. Fires may be prohibited during times of high fire danger.
  5. Pets must be kept on leash and attended at all times.
  6. Overnight camping is limited to 7 consecutive days and no more than 30 within a season.
