North Arm Campground

North Arm Campground is along the northern arm of 1,500-acre Timothy Lake. North Arm is one of 7 campgrounds around the lake operated by Portland General Electric in partnership with the Forest Service.

Anglers find good fishing at Timothy Lake for eastern brook trout, rainbow trout, and Kokanee. Crawdad (crayfish) fishing is claimed to be the best in the state. Motorized boats are permitted with a 10 MPH speed limit. Non-motorized boats such as canoes, kayaks, and sailboats are often seen gliding across the lake's placid waters.

North Arm Campground has 19 campsites. Most will accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents, while 4 are walk-in tent sites. Only site #2 is a pull-through. Tall trees provide good shade for the campsites. Many sites may be reserved ahead of arrival date, while the others are first-come, first-served sites.
