Pine Point Campground

Pine Point Campground is among the trees on the western side of 1,500-acre Timothy Lake. Pine Point (counting its group camp) is one of 7 campgrounds around the lake operated jointly by Portland General Electric and the Forest Service.

Fishing at Timothy Lake for Kokanee, eastern brook trout, and rainbow trout is very good. The lake is known for its crawdad (crayfish) fishing. Motorized boats are permitted with a 10 MPH speed limit. Non-motorized boats such as kayaks, canoes, and sailboats are often seen on the lake.

Pine Point Campground has 20 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Six of those sites are doubles. Good shade is found throughout the campground. Six of the sites are pull-throughs. Most sites may be reserved ahead of arrival date, while some sites are kept as first-come, first-served sites. Pine Point Campground also features 6 Group Campsites.

Notice: "In response to visitor feedback, we have changed select sites to a 2-week reservation window. These appear as "NR - Not Yet Released" until the reservation window opens. Other sites are still on the 6-month reservation window."
