Rock Creek Campground is in a lush forest of spruce and Douglas fir in the Siuslaw National Forest, only a half-mile walk from the coast. Visitors to the campground find good fishing and opportunities for birding. A short drive to the north is the , tide pools, and hiking trails.

Rock Creek Campground has 14 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents spread along the creek. Moss and ferns grow in abundance, giving the campground a rain forest feel.
