Bogus Creek Campground

Bogus Creek Campground is along the North Umpqua River in the Umpqua National Forest east of Roseburg. The campground is popular as a launch and take-out spot for rafters. Fly fishers like to cast their lines along the Umpqua, but be aware that there are fishing restrictions (Oregon Sport Fishing Regulations). Hiking is enjoyable on the Fall Creek Trail and several others.

Bogus Creek Campground has 10 standard campsites, most of which can accommodate up to 6 people. However, one of those sites is designated for 4 people. The campground also has 4 larger sites for up to 8 people. The campsites are scattered through a mature conifer and oak forest.

Reservations Available Reservations are available for camping from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
Campsites are first-come, first-served from mid-May to the day before Memorial Day weekend and from after Labor Day to end of September.

General Camping Information

Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the website when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite.

In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted.
