Pass Creek County Park Campground

Pass Creek County Park is 11 miles south of Cottage Grove beside Interstate 5. Pass Creek runs through the campground and forms a small pond at the southern end of the park. Visitors to park find good fishing in the pond for largemouth bass, bluegill, and crappie. Children have a play structure on which to climb.

Pass Creek Park Campground is set in a large grassy area used for tent camping (call to confirm that tent camping is still available). Next to the tent area are 30 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Those sites have full hook-ups. Many sites can be reserved while some are offered as first-come, first-served campsites.

Key Pass Creek County Park Campground Regulations

  1. Camping Unit: any unit that is used for sleeping, such as a motorhome, 5th wheel, tent, camper van, pickup with canopy or camper.
  2. Sleeping bags are no allowed outside the camping unit.
  3. Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No generators during those hours.
  4. Dogs must be kept on leash and attended at all times. Dogs are not allowed in park buildings.

  • Try your luck fishing in the park pond.
  • Visit Skinner Butte Park, 248 Cheshire Ave., Eugene. Fishing, hiking, rock climbing, sand play, viewpoints
  • Waldo Lakes Wilderness: steep to moderate slopes and includes many basin areas with lakes, meadows, and rock outcrops.
  • Row River Nature Park - nice walking paths in natural setting in Cottage Grove
