Half Moon Bay County Park Campground

Half Moon Bay County Park is at the mouth of the Umpqua River and next to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, 20 miles north of Coos Bay.

This exceptional location makes the park very popular with ATV riders. Access roads for off-road vehicles connect the campground with the dunes. Those seeking a less active camping destination might choose to look elsewhere. Anglers have good fishing along the Umpqua River.
