Smith River Falls is a pretty little cascade along the Smith River, 27 miles east of Reedsport. A boat launch near the campground is available. Many visitors enjoy spending time in the quiet forest and beside the gently flowing river. The area is popular for wildlife viewing (especially bald eagles), fishing, and swimming when water levels are safe. The falls are a short distance downstream from the campground.

Smith River Falls Campground has 10 attractive campsites tucked among the alders and groves of mature conifers. Some sites are close to the river. Campsites can accommodate small RVs and trailers, but are best suited for tents. All sites are first-come, first-served. There is no potable water at the campground.
