Emigrant Lake County Recreation Area is only 3½ miles southeast of Ashland. One of the biggest attractions at Emigrant Lake is the park's 280-foot twin flume water slide. The slide is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Emigrant Lake is also popular for swimming, boating, waterskiing, fishing, and hiking.
Emigrant Lake Recreation Area has two campgrounds - The Point RV Park and Oak Slope Campground. There is a 2-night minimum stay on weekends from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
The Point RV Park offers 32 sites with full hook-ups (50 amp). The campsites overlook the north end of the lake.
Oak Slope Campground has 40 tent campsites, also at the north end of the lake. Scattered trees provide partial shade.

Emigrant Lake's Group Campground can accommodate up to 100 people. Facilities include several picnic tables, a standing BBQ, and a large campfire ring. Reservations for the group site must be made by phone: (541) 774-8183.
