Grizzly County Park is along the northwest shore of popular Howard Prairie Lake, 20 miles east of Ashland. Jackson County operates 7 parks around the shores of the 2000-acre lake. Visitors find seemingly endless recreation opportunities, ranging from boating, fishing, and waterskiing to swimming, sailing, and hang gliding. Grizzly Park covers 80 acres with more than a mile of lake front. Views of Mt. McLoughlin across the lake are magnificent.

Grizzly County Park Campground has 21 sites for RVs, trailers, and tents. The campsites are spread among the trees, with some sites facing the water. All campsites are first-come, first served.
