Hyatt Lake Campgrounds

Hyatt Lake is 23 miles east of Ashland on the edge of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument. The 745-acre Hyatt Lake Recreation Area, including two campgrounds, is operated by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Visitors to the Recreation Area find good fishing, hiking, swimming, and boating. There is a 10 MPH speed limit for the lake. The forested shores of the lake enhance its beautiful mountain setting.

Hyatt Lake Recreation Area has two campgrounds - the main Hyatt Lake Campground and, 2 miles away, Wildcat Campground. Both campgrounds are on the shore of the lake. Together they have 56 campsites for RVs, trailers and tents. Twelve of the campsites are at Wildcat Campground. Wildcat is on a wooded peninsula overlooking the lake. Campers at Wildcat have full access to the facilities at the main campground area. Nearby amenities at the main campground include boat launch ramps, a playground, volleyball and basketball courts, and a fishing dock.

Hyatt Lake Recreation Area also has a Group Campground, an Equestrian Campsite, and a walk-in site for Pacific Crest Trail backpackers.
