Link Creek Campground

Link Creek Campground rests on the western shore of 253-acre Suttle Lake along Highway 20 in the Deschutes National Forest. Link Creek is the most popular of the 3 Forest Service campgrounds at the lake because of its level campsites, easy lake access, and long camping season. Fishing for kokanee, rainbow trout, brown trout, and whitefish is rewarding. The lake is also popular for boating, water skiing, and windsurfing. A launch ramp is found at the campground. Hikers and mountain bikers take off on the 3.2-mile Suttle Lake Shoreline Trail. Views of grand Mt. Washington can be enjoyed from many places around the lake.

Link Creek Campground offers 33 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Nine campsites have pull-through driveways. Three of the campsites are doubles. A surrounding forest of Ponderosa pine and Douglas fir shades the campsites. A dozen campsites are along the lake's shore. While most sites can be reserved ahead of arrival, some are available as first-come, first-served sites. The campground also has 3 Yurts.
