Big Meadows Horse Camp is near the Mt. Jefferson Wilderness in the Willamette National Forest. From the campground equestrians can access the Duffy Lake Trail which connects to a number of other great trails. The Big Meadows Loop Trail is another nice ride in the area.
Big Meadows Horse Camp has 9 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. The campground includes a 4-horse log corral at each site. Visitors will find hitching racks, a manure bin, and a loading ramp. A stock water-trough is provided. There is no local forage available, so campers will need to bring in their own certified weed-free hay. All sites are first-come, first-served.
