Marster Spring Campground

Marster Spring Campground is 7 miles south of Paisley on County Road 8-20. The rustic campground sits beside the Chewaucan River where anglers fish for catch-and-release bull trout.

A hiking trail along the river connects to the Fremont National Recreation Trail #160. Visitors can hike, mountain bike, or horseback ride north to on the trail Yamsay Mountain or south to Cox Pass. Cyclists, using caution, enjoy pedaling along the Chewaucan River.

Marster Spring Campground has 10 well-spaced campsites along the river, suitable for tents, trailers, or RVs up to 22 feet in length. Ponderosa pines, alder, and juniper provide nice shade. All campsites are first-come, first-served. Fresh, potable water is accessed from a campground hand pump.
